I posted this in WIP a while back.
This weekend I finally sat down and "finished" it.
The "stucco" stuff around the edge is a total cop-out attempt to fix the composition that didn't work.
This was basically my first painting in PS. I've done a lot of 3d in the past years, including loads of textures.
All in all I'm pretty excited about painting in photoshop. And I'm definately going to try and develope more in that area.
Anyways.. tips would be welcome.

He he, I see, you've removed the stars spangled flag to replace it by a fascist-like sign. That's more politically correct. Right, don't forget to remember who's good & who's evil. You don't need to think, just remember & repeat. |

if I remember well, the experience of the "ear on rat's back" was made by a "good" country... Anyway, let's be politically correst
So, I must say that for your first PS try you're really good! I really like the colors and the stances. The way they stare at each other is great
The only thing I would change is to sharpen the edge of your paper cut!
Apart from that , congratulation for your hard job. |

I love the expression on the rat's face...that's hilarious!
Anyway, it's great, especially for a first try. The one thing I'd suggest is that you try a more unified colour scheme--it seems a bit chaotic at the moment. |

Thanks all,
That flag was not right and was not the definative one. I said that when I posted it and yet people seemed to get really insulted by it.
So now I just insulted the fascists.
There is only a thin line between using symbols and bigotry. I believe this is not(bigotry).
About "good" countries. Let's keep the countrybashing to the countrybashing threads.
Socar: I'm delighted you like my rat oh rat-guru!
I had never drawn a rat before. I just happened to come across this site with lots of rat paintings that made for great reference. : ) Thanks.
