I am 17 and planning on attending Emily Carr this fall
Both of these pictures were mainly used with Indian ink, Diluted felts, Prints using rubbing alcohol mixed with wintergreen oil, and a little bit of acrylics.
please critic...
[edit: sorry for the bad photos]

Interesting textures and composition. Are those pictrues meant to portrait anger and other negative emotions?
I think people are more used to arts that had direct visual appeal or commercial values. In a abstract or modern art, it's hard to find a guideline as how to perceive the piece. I've been thinking, is "Easy to understand" a virtue for modern arts?
but anyhow, good luck on your studies. |

I find it a bit confusing the way my artwork seems to develop because I am not a hate filled or tremendously depressed person. I have just assumed that I come up with these images subconsciously, and it acts as a vent for my annoyance of the world. Everyone seems to have their own way of releasing his or her anger. This is just my way of getting it out of my system.
And thanks for commenting ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
