Samoamax is a digital artist that identifies himself to the work and let himself
act and react to it. It's a form of interaction while he is working on the images
with his computer. Samoamax�s photographs deal with contradictions. He used images
to record things usually by moving around, reconsidering stereotyped values and balances
of light and colour, deeps and surfaces.
His computer is his brush. Pixels are his paint. He think anyone contemplating making
a mark in photography must first learn the elements of drawing. Photography is an
extension of a person's eye and hand, and he think a photographer has the same sort
of creative control on film that an artist does on paper or canvas. His photographs
create a world of surealism and he combines progressive digital techniques whith
an inherent knowledge of traditional Photography. He also photographs with a very
edgy Italian style, fashion and ordinary people.Samoamax he was born in Trieste (Italy).He is a dutch citizen and actually he lives
in Spain.
Samoamax acquired his bachelors Degree in Photography from the Ecole Nacionale Superieur
des Beaux-Arts and the Ecole des Arts Decoratief in Paris and a post graduation course
in the Rietveld Modern Art Academy in Amsterdam.
Samoamax exposed in diferent countries as,Usa,Benelux,Greece,Cuba,England,Germany,
France. His clients have included galleries, advertising agencies, graphic designers
and magazines
