Finally finshed that castle project:

Project for next weeks class.
- Had to make an old castle with new technology. (Old castle, with crashed rocket in it.)
- People that live in this castle.
- Defensive vehicle made with 3-4 animal references.

Still learning illustrator so I didn't get to trace over my line art with illustrator, I would of liked to have gotten it a lot cleaner.

Crits and Suggestions appreciated.

The castle was 14x19 inches, and the two others were 14x8.5 inches.

Dagnabit, my wife said that too..

They are the stereotypical alien, green with antenaii, anyone green in midevil garb ends up looking like shrek.

I originally had them red, but they looked like the crustacean man on Futurama.

Can't win for losing.

Yeah, I didn't get a chance to really clean up the castle as much as I would of liked too due to time constraints, I work 8-5 Mon-Friday and go to school from 6-1030PM four days a week, so I didn't have enough time to fix it as much as I would of liked. I am gonna hold onto the psd awhile and maybe fix it up for a possible portfolio peice of some kind.

Spent too much time trying to learn the pen tool in illustrator this weekend, still didn't end up with too much knowledge.

let me help you rememer - they have almond shaped black beady eyes, they aren't chubbyfaced, and they are short and dont wear the same clothes as shrek. hahahah oh yeah and they dont have shrek's pot belly either hehehe

Come on, it doesn't look 'that' close does it?

I can see a resemblence but not anything other then they are green, have antenae, and are chubby with mid-evil garb. Ok, I guess thats a lot but it was real sub conscious like, I might go back and make em skinny now, if I get a few minutes before they get turned in.

Don't want my teacher to think I ripped em or anything.
