I won't have time to finish this before the contest but I'd thought I'd show this anyway.

I have to watch a movie now. More on this later.

I thought it was progressively loading at first. But it is a bit blurry. Not finished, I know, but that's my comment.

Thanks Awetopsy. And yes jome it is blurry looking. I thought I was posting in the WIP section. Oops. Oh well. I sketched out the figure using a somewhat larger brush and then went in with a darker, thinner line to see if I could pinpoint where I really want the lines represented. I just need to go in and clean things up now as far as the lines go.

I've got a crap load of work coming in, two photography trips and someones birthday coming up so I don't suspect I'll find the time to really get anything done to it by the time the contest deadline rolls around.

I heard a rather endearing term a while ago to describe going 'without panties' as "Going Commando", so that was the basic idea behind the pic. Plus I happen to have a picture of the real life gun called the Commando. Figured I might as well put that in there too.

The picture was of the gun broken down into two parts inside a briefcase so I kinda had to draw a study of it put together so I had a better idea of how to draw it tilted and angled the way she is holding it. I wanted to try making a displacement map of the camo pattern but I decided to do it free hand.

If I do find some time to do something with this I do need to clean it up first. I plan on looking for some ref pics of boots before I detail them. Anything else I need to work on?

Spent my lunch trying to get it colored in time. bleh...
not coming along so nicely but oh well. I either screw things up by spending to little time or too much.

Can a moderator move this to WIP please? It wasn't meant to be posted here. I goofed and put it in the finished section.

Well at least I (kinda) finished something. But only because there was a deadline.

I should have had her panties hanging off the tip of the gun. What do you think?
