hi...
i did this bob marley portrait to get my mind off things..
i think somthing looks wrong with it.. could you help me finding it?
it's not like i will change it but i'd like to know so i don't make the mistake again.
i think it's something with the eyes.. or?

The problem is in the lip/chin area. The lips struck me as the wrong shape before seeing the reference photo; they are too square and even in thickness (rather than thicker towards the center and wider at the ends). Also, the little notch in the top lip (I don't know the name ) is too shallow and wide, and the bottom lip has an identation where it should not.
After seeing the reference, the chin is in a different position in your piece and the shape is off a little. See pic:
otherwise good work, I like the rendering style and most of the face is pretty accurate. |

i often find that revesing the image from left to right suddenly presents whats looks like a brand new image, so for a few seconds its as though your looking at it for the first time and can easily spot any mistakes, it works. |
