a faux Book cover. I don't like the font, but it was the closest I had to the idea in my head. Photo reference used.

i agree about the font. it seems out of place in a way. i would suggest in making your own font. one program that i have used before, i think its called fontographer from adobe.

i like the facial expression of the kid, and i like the colors you used.
