"I've been looking so long at these pictures of you
That I almost believe that they're real
I've been living so long with my pictures of you
That I almost believe that the pictures are
All I can feel"

Oooh... freaky. I'm listening to that song right now. I saw the thread title and thought, "Nah, it can't be..."
Great song, and great picture. |

silber>it's not really for a project it's just a comic i'm working on just 2 test new techniques... 2 c what i cand do, specially combining 3d graphics and traditional hand drawings... i'm not sure yet of the results... that's why i wanted 2 hear some c&c of u all... i find it somentimes kind of rigid and inflexible and a general lack of spontaneity if u know what i mean... but it's also great for complex perspectives (no more nightmares with vanishing pooints) and choosing the perfect camera angle and lightning for the frame... so i really don't know what 2 think yet... i would like 2 hear what real pros (i'm just an amateur), that r using similar techniques, like steven stahlberg and others think about this new hybrid of 3d graphics and traditional art...
and yes, the scene was inspired by that great song... hehe
swampbug>again thanks a lot for ur comments as i said before i really appreciate ur opinion!!! thanks a lot.
morbid guy>i have about 7 pages of this comic so far using the same technique... if u like i will post more here or as soon as i have my new web page i'll let u know...
jayjay>yes i used 3dstudio max, poser, tradional hand drawing and corel photopaint.
kaete>where u really listening 2 that song?? coooool!!! thank u.

Really very nice comic page, exellent linework style. Is there any more to the story? Would love to see it if there is.

I bet it takes longer 2 write a 2 every time you want 2 say the word too, than 2 actually write the word to. It also reduces everyones opinion of your intellectual capacity, not to mention it is frustrating to attempt to read.
On a side note: Nice comic. |

Yep, I really was listening to it. I like listening to Cure late at night. It really relaxes me.
I forgot to mention, but I love how you did the high-lights in the girl's hair. |
