Here's a little Lord of the Rings inspired battle scene. I'm wondering if the metals in the scene need more contrast to match the burning sky. c&c please.

yes they do. my eye goes to the sky first and then the characters seem secondary.. You should decide whether you want the pic to be bright saturated colors, like the sky, or faded bleak colors and make the whole image like that.

I like it! But yeah I think if Sauron had more contrast it would work better. Still, like the texture! Keep it up!

Also, Sauron looks like he's in the foreground cuz there's not enough contrast.. you need the foreground to be a good bit brighter (or highlighted from the sky's light).
