Looks good but the painting looks flat.
Try adding more highlights and shadows to create more contrast. |

Nice. I agree with the others about it being somewhat of a static image, but the contest only started yesterday, eh? I'll be submitting a pinup as well. Looks like you've got time to do another.
Hey Neo-MatrixX!! I'm also from Windsor. I went to Massey. It's cool that you've found your way here too. |

hey looking good JR. one small little techincal flaw i *think* isnt chun li from china? so if thats true why the big japanese rising sun? just a little nitpicking. other than that add some contrast and you have it made ![](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

geez, i'm chinese.
i just wanted to make it simple, chinese flag is red. i was going to put a yellow star back there but that would have been tacky so i decided against that. i've also corrected the hips abit. |

You post worked just fine at Round Eyes forum.....I think you have a nice piece here...although I think that you rushed it a bit.
The face is very nicely rendered...but when you get past the neck everything else just dies out. I mean, look at the hands, they arent finnished.
I think you did a nice job, but finnish it for Christ sake...It will be awsome once you render the rest like you did the face!!! ![](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

I like all the detail you've put into her face, like the nose, lips and those subtle colour variations. She looks pretty realistic there. I think you might've rushed through the rest of the body, though. Isn't she meant to be really muscular? |

eh, big muscular arms on hot chick looks dumb. i must have wrote that somewhere. i gave her arms that arn't too weak looking. i've again updated the picture, giving more more boobies and more color on the arm. i think it's done. unless i get another complaint about it, then i'll freak out and work it over again and again...... |

don't make the sun/circle red. Your chun-li will have alot more contrast if she isn't over pure red. |

Is it just me, or does Chun-Li's right eye (the one that has a bit of hair covering it) seem a bit lower than her left eye? Maybe her head is tilted or my own eyes are crooked? I dunno, Just want to make sure you checked that, otherwise it's sweet . Anyways, about the arms, it's her LEGS that are supposed to be strong, her arms have always been sucky, haven't you played the game?

Hey, great work! Her body is a little flat, and you don't have that great color variation that's in her face. I hope you don't mind too much, I did a quick paint over for ya, to illustrate what I meant.

So its a duel then? Ha! I accept!
Good stuff jr . . . her expression is all intensity . . . a good counterpoint to my sex kitten version of her
