my first pin-up. I've worked this in many small steps and now it's finally finished. I think. I'm quite happy about it though I bet there are some flaws there that I cannot see.
plus the pose seems somewhat stiff.
the best part is her left hand, imho. dunno why

Looks pretty good, and one can tell you've made the pic. But what bothers me are A) the heavyset arms and hands and the thick calves. Also the feet seem a bit big and the right ankle is just odd (like there was no ankle). |

nice!! I like her tubby features. I agree, left hand is excellent. So is her thigh and (her) left foot.
You could work more on her face, breasts and right hand.
I think the cast shadow is too saturated |

I like this. and i think instead of all those things being too big, i think that the head is a little too small. |

My only crit would be to add some backlighting to shadow side, especially her right arm. There is something about the black outlining that seems to detract from the realness of it. The surface of her arm curves all the way around to the point where we can no longer see the surface on the other side, but with the dark line on the edge it makes it look kinda 2D instead of curved. |

thanks for the feedback everyone!
I agree that she looks a bit muscular and heavy. well, at least she's not anorectic
the ankle looks to be the worst problem which I was planning already to correct some day. thanks for pointing out the other mistakes. I was getting really frustrated with this pic (esp. the ankle) so I'll leave it as it is for now and perhaps correct it later. plus the ankle would be killing me if I tried to make it look right without reference... |
