Finished my latest painting yesterday. It's in acrylics and it was done in 2 days, on an off, about 5 hours I believe. The pictures aren't the best.

It's called "Smile"

it looks good i like the hair, i dont' know if it's the photo or what, but it seems really warm, maybe more color?

I think its a cool painting... but is it jsut me or does it look more androginous the closer you zoom?

Thank you all for the comments.

Here is the reference picture.


As for the warm colors, yes I did that in photoshop and that really isn't at all what the painting looks like. I didn't feel like scanning it , and did a picture of it. Here is the original picture. It seems that now it looks much too cold, it must be the flash.

I am still looking for a perfect way for getting my traditional art in the comp. So if anyone has any suggestions. Please share

In the original there is just much more greens and blues visible.
