I want to be a dinosaur!
Um, yeah. Anyway, I was bored so I went outside and sketched some. I think I'm going to do that more often; it really helps with value recognition. Anyway, just practicing and trying out new approaches. Hopefully it isn't too crappy. =\

booty booty booty! Good effort. just keep practicing I did the same as you this summer. Just go out somewhere and draw. Depending if you have a car or not. On a nice day, go sit on a bench and draw people. This summer I drew people at malls, beaches, pools, airports. All while waiting to go someplace. Get a backpack and put you sketch book in it. It becomes your "MAN PURSE" or carry all after a while. Thats what I do now.
I reget that I hadn;t started drawing from life sooner. I'm 20, and just really started. but not to late to start. I mean, the going out and drawing real stuff part. I've been drawing my whole life on and off.
Ohh... if you sit ina good area, you'll get people to come upa nd see what you are doing. Good expirences!
later! keep it up. |
