It's my first post in a loooong time, and it's my first ever post with art work, I'm 19 just graduated high school three weeks ago. I did this painting from life last year duing the summer, it's my third so uh yeah. It works just right click and hit show picture, its a big mother of a file

Nice painting though. I like the scan showing all the texture and the canvas texture. Post some more if you have them.

heh, thanks, I'll try out that site, but now I've gotta go to bed. I have a bunch of sketches and finished drawings that I'll get around to posting, some are 2 or three years old. I'll try to scan some current stuff

I think ists pretty good. but the lack of even a hint of an ear bothers me.

yeah the pose was over before I could suggest the form, so I'll put the ear in on my next one, but besides that what could I do to improve my painting?

I couldn't load the whole pic, cuz I'm on a slow modem. Anyhow, it's nice that you made some saturated edges (red) in the shadows and not just used black-skin-white. I don't see any yellow in the highlights though. Sometimes skin gets a lil yellow before getting highlighted to white.
