hello artists,
this is the "!" character for the upcoming short called "RIOT"
still in the 2d concept phase, but i have to admit thats is a great phase!!

nice rendering,though the pose seems a bit awkward in places.
On the whole its a nice piece though - nice 2000AD style character. |

nice, but kill the gay rainbow and grass, and add a curb or a street or something...
my first thought was that he was a addict or something, and the bg didnt fit...
IMO
nice tho ! i just dont like the background.

VERY GOOD pic.
Just some considerations.
1) The material of the pants do not fold as it should, looks like a "planar" texture.
2) Apparently U did the character in a white background and then "cut" and put the grass, right ? The glove has somekind of "outline"
3) The boot of the left leg (his) does not look like the other. The right one, seems plastic (because of the highlights) when the other not.
4) U could work on the shadows on the "white parts", that is, gloves, and boot, Just to add perspective and volume, looks kindah flat.
Sorry about SO MUCH considerations, but they are just a few things (I) think could improve your drawing.
keep up the good work and as soon as U get hima nimated post a link, I'd love to see him kickin' some ass... |
