Here is a marker and ink drawing I did over 6 hours today. I used colored pencil to add some detail and texture. With all the digital stuff I've been playing with, it's fun to get a little hands on.

Very beautiful picture.
Hehe today I was at my local bookstore and was browsing through some drawing books as usual and I found this book called Dynamic comic book drawing or something like that. In the book they had a villain as drawn by different comic book artists. As I remember there was Bart Sears, Eric Larsen and you. Pretty good company I might say. Anyways, the author had said that you have very tight pencils which still leave a little space for interpretation by the inker.
And why am I babbling? I have no clue. Just happy to have such talented artists among us I guess. Thanks for inspiring us. |

very awesome. would be very *wicked* awesome if you didn't light it in the 'digital' style - looks dodged/burned even if it wasn't, you know what I mean? icky icky icky dodge/burn can go to hell. other then that, actual texture in an image, sumptuous! |

Awesome piece, only crit is left thumb looks a little awkward. Otherwise I love the use of the tree shape to frame her I am also a fan of artnouveau. |

this is great work. very very nice pencils. beautiful rendering. this is so much closer to perfect than anything i have done so far, i am amazed. glad to hear you make a living with this.
here's my wishes for this pic:
more than one texture (you just hatched! after i read your description of the technique, i was a bit disappointed).
then i was silently complaining about the flatness of the hair. (look at her chin, and her arms, there should be more light on her hair, right?)
her green garment gives off a pink glow
boy, this is so fucking amazing. |

very very very nice, man. looks proffesional.
only thing i didt like was the light source that casts a skin-tone light on her. that pink light on her gloves and gardle is too wird and dont go well with her skin tone. those two look to similar. it's like her body is shown through her clothes.
but astonishing work, though |
