Heya guys,
I'm finally gonna get myself a digital camera. I'm looking for something between 2.1 - 3.1mp, with a few neat little features, and adequare storage (16mb min). I'm looking to spend around $700CAD (approx. $400 US). Any reccomendations?
I'm looking at the Toshiba PDR-M71.. I've been hearing really good things about it.
Please weigh in with your opinions. I'd greatly appreciate any guidance you guys could offer. |

This is your best friend. It's more informative than any of us will ever be.
I shoot with the Olympus C3030Z, and it's pretty good. All the photography I've posted were shot with that camera. |

And maybe have a look at eBay as well. That way you could aim for one that is more expensive and get it there for the price you had originally in mind.
Im btw. also looking for one. But I plan to spend a little more ($500). I have a Nikon coolpix 995, or a Casio QV-4000 in mind. (yesterday it was still a Minolta Dimage S304 )
The Toshiba you mentioned was also in my top 5 selection from yesterday (I spend the whole weekend on that subject ). |

I have a nikon cp885. It's pretty cool. It's cheap but has most of the possibilities of the more expensive ones but is half their size.
All that I wanted in a digicam.
I already had two slr's for when I need really high quality though. |

For the Nikon coolpix 995 there are 5 optional lenses available so far.
Lunatique: http://www.dpreview.com/ is indeed a great site. found a 26 pages test there for the Nikon cp 995. Very detailed. |
