I had to make this logo for a fake company called Best Friends Forever. Its an online company that basically allows owners who have lost their pets to interact with "virtual pets" so that they can feel like they still have their "mans best friend". What do you think? any suggestions. Comments?

First off, very neat idea with the tail and mouse
Here's what I would change:
You don't need that many motion lines. 2 or 3 should be enough. Too many makes it look confusing.
The tail should curve upwards. Right now it curves downward, giving a negative message. Upward is almost always positive.
The logo symbol (mouse and tail) could tilt towards your right some to give it a dynamic feel. Diagonal lines create energy. Standing upright, your logo is very static right now (unless it is your intent for it to be static).
Dynamic logos fit fun, entertaining, friendly businesses, while static logos fit reliable, serious corporate companies.
Lastly, The Paw should be smaller so not to crowd the edges of the mouse, this will make the logo less "busy."
Duplicate your logo and try different things with it. What my Graphic Design teacher always told me: Variation, Variation, Variation
Do variations of your logo (if you didn't already). You'll start seeing things your image can do you never thought about during the intial design.
Hope this helps and good luck,

I agree with the above comments. That tail is a little too crooked and confused, it's throwing off the solidity and balance of what could be a really good logo if executed properly. That's a great idea with the mouse, but I was thinking of simplifying the whole thing (less lines, less scribbles) and giving it more form. I was doodling around with it and came up with something like this:
