Amazing detail. The painting has a whole lot of impact at a glance. Even on a second look, the only things that really bug me are some of the wild saturation levels. You also let the dodge tool get to hot in some areas. The position of the feet throw his balance off, and you should really crop off most of the space on the right. Wonderful work.

The guy is pretty nice too...he seems off balance (falling to the right).
I find the lenslfare too distracting. It draws the attention away from the actual subject of the picture (the space cowboy). I would lose it or tuck it in behind the planet more. The details on the suit look really nice. Those arms are of very different sizes - intentionally?
I think it would've been better if you drew the lightsource manually. The lensflare seems a little too artificial and it's been so over-used that i feel sorry for the poor old filter.
[edit]: remomved the displeasing tone from my post (sorry about that)

the left arm seems out of whack but perhaps that was intentional as someone else alluded...
also just a nit, but i feel like he needs a glove for those hands...after all he is wearing a space suit! =P |

Lens flare = too much. Arms diff sizes. Insane amount of detail. Gives a hard hit at first glance, and definetly gets attention. Again, as most my post was previously mentioned, lil' nit-picky things pop up after looking at it for awhile. |
