I didn't intend to start a new thread for this picture originally, however i feel that i need critique on this specific painting and therefore I post it again.

It was made for the january draw club thread.

I hope you don't mind me doing this.

Here are some of my stunningly undetailed detail-shots. The paradox is driving you mad isn't it?

I've never seen it before, so I'll say stuff.. :P

I can see a few issues with perspective that just make the scene look odd... like the top of the counter at the far left. I do noticed you tried prespective on may places and I saw that.. so good effort.!

another is lighting.. Light coming out of the fridge is workin for me.. but the blue light on the front of the fridge is not. Its almost as if moon light was comign from the wall across from it. I would make the whole scene darker.

A story telling element could include milk pouring down his face and a small puddle.. Kinda shows how eager he was to just GLUP it down without worring about a mess.

Slim up that crow bar.. Give it some sharper highlights maybe?

And maybe refine some of those proportions on your guy like making his right hand smaller,... ohhhahah one more thing thats bugin me.. I'd lose the highlight on the very tippy of his nose.. I'm getting the accidental HUGE pig nostrals effect... rather than the tip of his nose effect.

Ok.. without sounding too picky, hopefully.. My constructive crit helps you.

Notice how long this is, I was feelin bad, no one replied here.

cheers !

thanks for the replies.

swampbug - I was thinking (or wasn't) that the wall would give some degree of reflected light back to the fridge...

oink? hehe thanks for the comments

Xyster21- hehe He'd look really MAD then i guess

Rob M- ooh yes...well umm you'd have too If you opened a foot-thick vault door with a crowbar hehe

Thanks, I'll be more careful with the proportions.

***UPDATE***
Here is a better (?) version taking into account the previous comments...
Give me your thoughts on it.

I kept the old one for comparative purpouses...

[EDIT: made some minor adjustments with the brush]
