Wow, I really enjoy this 'rougher' style you get when you spend a bit less time with your piece. I think it makes it that much more personal. I really like this a lot. I know this is saying a fair bit, but I think this is my favorite piece from you.

Beautiful.

I just noticed something super tiny, but it was enough to throw me off a bit.

The perspective on the right side of the Gameboy is off just slightly and it is making the Gameboy look a bit chubbier at the bottom. I through some quick lines over it to show ya what I mean.

... I told you it was tiny.

snarf...

Actually the Gameboy is shaped more like this...

My rendering in the picture is still not exact, but it is not meant to be more than a sketch.

fleabrain: "it is not meant to be more than a sketch."

Why do you post it to Gallery/Finished work then?

I like the sketch anyway.. it is pleasant
to look at.

Fleabrain: Awesome! I love this. this is soo personal... a very refreshing departure from what kinds of pics we've seen around here lately, ie. Naked Hot chick, Elf (nudity) etc.

Your work is very clean and seems very driven by the things you like and love around you.. Its absolutely awesome.

damn NICE!

love the richness in the colours.. so vibrant and powerful.. i seen your previous pic.. great colours!

pics like these remind me how 'dull' mine are =]

just a question.. do u guys paint with very bright colours to begin with? reason i ask is because my pics always look so dull.. but i've tried starting with brighter colours.. just always looks too clashy.. so just keep to starting with dull colours and adjusting saturation.. but is this cheating?

anyways.. keep up the great work dude :]

Oops.. my lines didn't exactly make what I was trying to say any easier. In fact, I think I confused myself.

I edited it a bit further and highlighted what I meant. The bottom right edge of the Gameboy (meaning, IT'S bottom right edge) was just not quite in line with the rest.

This is all irrelevant though seeing you only consider this a sketch (!?). It was just messin' with my eye is all.

Again, awesome stuff. Hope I didn't manage to offend or annoy you.

-jkole ... Why to I post it here? I guess because it's a finished picture done in a sketchy style.

Awetopsy ... Thanks for your comment

KrayZ ... I generally lay down initial color using Photoshops lasso tool. The initial color is generally mid range for the area, perhaps slightly toward the darker hues. I have a TUTORIAL here that demonstrates how I work. Check it our if you have a moment.

snarf ... no offense taken. Thanks for you comments and taking a look.
