yeah i used to
this was one of the first things i ever did in photoshop, and dodge and burn were the first tools i tried. |

Yeah it is a bit dodge/burny. And usually that tends to make me dislike a picture, but I really like this one. First of all you didn't make the mistake most early digital pictures have - which is becoming so blurry that it looks like we're peering at it through a vaseline filter.
But the real strength of the pic (in my opinion) is the perspective and expression. It's just great. It's like I just walked up to a scarecrow in a field, and all of a sudden it looks up at me and says "What do you want?" And then I would of course run screaming.
All in all, a very cool beginning. |
