Very nice illustration, i love the pose of the arm,her face and the colors.
The sword in the preliminary sketch was better though, IMO. And her legs appear to be attached to her body a little to high, not really showing the pelvic bone. I hope this makes sense...

I was just looking at your Alice fansite; great stuff! I love your style! I also would go for the katana, it looks better.

thanks all, i'm glad you liked it. although i don't see why you like that katana so much... it's a bit boring, isn't it? i feel the sabre thing she has represents the organic design of her armour better, and is a bit more savage.

jaymo: yeah, i struggled with the pelvis/leg thing for ages. i think the references i was using were just unusually long legged

Wow! I luv it. No crits, I even like the eyes(with no pupils) and my favorite part are the scales under the arm, really nice touch.

Yah, the katana looked cool, but I think it was the right choice to go with this sword.

very nice. Maybe something could be done to the arrow through the hair - my first thought was that it looked as if was stuck in her skull... Nonetheless, I really like it. great stuff

My only c&c is that the outfit around the breasts is pretty simple compared to the rest of the picture. By hey who cares, it looks great.
