Well i got a little bored at work and was surfing around checking out all the rad sites out there and was inspired to do something of my own. I dont even really know whjat style this would be called but I dig it.
C&C away please. The style is all composition so I hope I havent failed miserably at it.
I will just post a link since its fairly large.
Sluzzard - Possibly the oddest title I have come up with |

I liked it, so much so that I would like to use it in a brochure for a friend of mine promoting carb pills or something...
Is this ok with you?
Thanks in advance. |

dr bang - Thanks for the compliment. No offence taken. I know its not quite traditional and wasn't for sure how this sort of design work is taken here. Thanks for being gentle. Will take a look at that site. Looks interesting already.
AfterShoxX - It's definitely a possibility. Contact me via email and we can work that out. |

I find it boring too. Perhaps I can give you some advice? Compisitionally it is right in the center, not very much making me look at it more than a few seconds. While the color is interesting, it doesn't provide enough interest to look else were. How about throwing some part of the image outside of the box you have created? Perhaps a splash of red, or the logo?
I'd like to see something else or perhaps an evolution of this peice. And as far as I am concerned this place (sijun) is for any type of art, digital, original, or munipinal
Anyhoo, tally ho!
cheers,

it would be cooler maybe if you continued the 3d blob thing outside of that little rectangle and maybe faded it out or something. |

yeah I see what you're saying. I conformed to the shape of the rectangle too much. I think I was starting to go there with the ugly pink boxes stuff but after doing all that texturization I guess I got a little lazy. Must remember to never do that. Thanks for the info guys. Will definitely update this piece. As I said, it's something new to me and still pretty exciting. Not just another guy with a sword (though I still love those) |

hrm. wish you knew why so i could work on it. I admit its not perfect by any means. i am just starting to toy around with this sort of look. a LOT of people hate this sort of stuff too though several also like it.
Guess it's a love it or hate it sort of piece. |
