I love them both, but you did ask for some suggestions, so:

The adorable asian: I love her expression, but I think her hair is flattening her out a bit. The value tones of the hair is equal even as it leads back into space. Perhaps a softening of the back edges and a bit of a gradient of a nice light gray blue would push the back of her head to the back instead of raising it up a bit vertically to the viewer. I see you have some of that already, but perhaps emphasize it a bit more.

Oh, it might also be helpful to decrease the strength of the hair thickness as you get to the back of the head. right now the strands seem as thick or thicker than the front. this is also making the hair look a little flat.

Elf: bravo! ;} I love elves, and your lighting and colors are great! I think the sleeves look a little sharp tho, the color contrast is protruding them out past the armor a bit. Also, I would simplify the folds greatly as they don't seem quite natural and draw too much attention away from the other details.
