Well, I got a part time job doing digital art (thats very exciting for me!), but I found a few hours to do something for fun. It came out looking like a poorly executed Brom clone (not my intention), but regardless, I'm rather pleased with it considering it only took a bit over three hours.

edit-- If you're screen is too dark, or lacks contrast, this picture probably won't read. Turn up your contrast and brightness if you want to see it...

I like that you made the central figure sit to one side of the thrown.

I personally would like to see the light be a bit brighter though.

Really nice pic ! I think the perspective could be improved by using a worm view . This would make him look more menacing . I also think the dudes in the back are to short . The left spendel on the chair is leaning to the right . I did not figure that you wanted to hear great job for a 16 year old ! Really a nice pic !

Hey, thanks for the replies

Awetopsy: The guys in the back were a bit of a last minute thing; glad you like them (hehe). I never thought about them being so short, but you guys are right. Kinda makes them more ogre-ish.

BlackPool: Thanks! Yeah, I know I'm pushing the limits with the tone of the painting. I also have an exceptionally bright screen, so I donno how it reads for other people o_O.

Geelimp: heh, sorry; my host's server was down for a bit.

Dr. Bang: Hey, thanks . Its a local company, and the job actually kinda fell in my lap through contacts my art teacher had. The company I work for is just starting out, and the guy who's starting it also had a graphic art software company he made about 8 years back, which made software called fuave and x-res (micromedia bought him out and x-res became micromedia's fireworks). Its pretty exciting, to say the least, because if the company does well my art will be everywhere. Anyways, I don't know a thing about job searching, but I wish you luck .

DarkStalker1: Hmmm, not sure what you mean by worm view. But good eye on the crits! I agree with you.
