your images are getting better and better, oblagon. the first 2 are great, but i dont care much for the last. It's less readable than the others, i think, and that seems to be what you're working most on.. defining what we see. keep at 'er.

Interesting, the last one is actually my favourite. I like the composition. I wouldn't call it furious but you do get a sense of urgency to get out of the way.

wigin: it could be my monitor. what i have is very old.

i guess i'll have to zoom in and clean up last two. i started painting with slashes. they look rather messy in zoom (zigzags).

ok, I think I have figured out what the heck the above picture is doing in this thread... it is supposed to be in the 'best of 2001' thread!?

Tatiana: Embarrased? .jk. Try not to confuse yourself with 3000 IE windows open!

Oblagon: I really like all three pics. I got a lot from staring at them fro a little while. Some great brush strokes and transparency, interesting colours, etc...

I love the three pictures at the top...even the ambiguous ones, they're lovely. it doesn't matter what it's supposed to be, there is something magical there. and the rocket thing looks really cool

thanks for comments ppl.

tek9z: smoke aside from creating atmosphere conveniently covers up mistakes and lack of detail. that's why i use it so often
