Ok. This is where I need help. I`m going to try to sell this as a cover after X-mas holidays, so I`m also into which one works best at a distance too(striking), but both kinda do.

So I`m gonna gather up the votes here, which one works best; left or right one?

definetly the right one. The left one with blue skin tones looks somehow wrong. And please add a small shadow or colour variation on the lit side of her nose. Her face looks flat without it.

Right one. It's nice to have some warmer tones in there to stop it looking monochromatic.

Row.

Definitely the one on the right. The higher contrast between colors makes it more eye-catching... Stands out more..

Got to disagree there--the one on the right looks TOO contrasty--it looks like a cutout pasted on a backdrop, rather than a character in an environment.

ok personaly I like more the one on the left...I find that the one on the right is just too bright...so we loose the details and our eye is too consentrated on the girls boobs and face...so thats why I like more the left one because I feel that is more balanced...

The left. It just fits together more nicely -- so u look at the pic as a whole, not just the girl. I guess it depends what you're going for though.

different monitors might make the contrasty one look too bright.

Its hard to say, the one on the left, seems more real , and atmospheric, but the one on the right, is a lot sharper looking, and personally(it really is a matter of a opinion) I preffer the one on the right.

If you cant decide, paste the one on the right on top of the other one in a 50% opaque layer.

Seen your site , very nice .. if you could make it use less popups , it would be really good.(The content of course is amazing)

The left looks more natural and believable. The right jumps out at one more. It looks staged or fake as the yellow light is not trasnmitted to any of the other scene.

An inbetween version might be best.

i agree to all who say the left one. these very sharply contrasted highlights look wrong in this dark moody scenery imho.

The left one looks better up close as far as colour balance goes
- but the right hand one stands out more from a distance , IMHO

(edit - spelling)

I like the one on the left more.. It's more moody. The one on the right gets a little too contrasty (is that a word? )

Amazing work on your site too.

My biggest crit would be the lighting.
look close. There is light hitting her body
from above,on her left side, directly in front
of her and even behind her. I would choose one.(two at the most)
Then, depending on which "light direction" you
choose, I would highlight a touch of the forest around her.

I think both are a bit too grey and dull. The forest BG works ok as it is, but the dame seem a bit flat colorwise, she's all grey and stuff... Try giving some part of her clothing or skin a little color?
