Well this is my first "proper" digital picture. I am not an artist - I cannot draw very well at all, but I've been very inspired since I discovered Sijun and I wanted to have a go. This picture was made with just photoshop and a mouse by the way.



I won't be changing this image but I would appreciate any comments and improvements people can suggest, so that I know what I'm doing wrong and can make sure I get it right the next time.

pretty good for someone that claims to have no artistic talent. Just keep trying man, everyone starts somewhere. Henri Mattisse didn't even start painting until he was in his 40s.

but it if your after crits to improve you should probably post a character of some sort rather than a space scene, nothing to crit here really.

Switch - I think the reason I avoid drawing characters is down to my lack of arty skill, things like this are so much easier. I think you are probably right though so I'll try and work up to it (don't expect me to post anything though, they'll be pretty bad).
