A good while ago while I was a biiiig fan of Half Life (don't get me wrong, I still am) I found Dhabih's site... It's taken me this long to find it again, some of the most professional and inspiring work I've ever done (and yeah I'm mega jelous).
Now thinking of buying a graphics tablet myself (eeek, yeah I still use a mouse) I considering getting back into the habbit of drawing things again. By the way, if anyone knows of a good, reasonably priced graphics tablet available to someone in the UK (most preferably A4) then please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.
Well, since I'm always breaking my computers (and my bro has a right paddy at me as it's his network I break) and especially as I don't even know what the word 'Backup' means, about the only piece of work I have is the pic included here. Was created for a friend who found and old photograph of his wifes mother when she was a child and wanted it tidying up a bit. Not the best thing I've ever done, but he was more than happy with it.
Well that's about it, just introducing myself really. Haven't done any graphic work for over year, but you never know, I might get inventive and stick something up for you guys to look at.
Happy Christmas all
Keep up the unbelieveable work, inspiration to everyone everwhere and damn good you all are too.
Regards
Matt |

not a bad job, heh I wouldnt say it's "art" in any way, but it is a skill, you should try colorizing it too could be interesting |

Thanks, since I haven't actually drawn anything for a long time, I spend most the time now doing touchups and adding effects to other images, still enjoyable though.
I tried colouring a black and white image before, with dreadfull results. Maybe if I tried doing it without trying to make it too realistic, kind of abstract or something, dunno.
Anyway, anyone know of a good host to store images on that doesn't show the crappy "hosted by tripod" picture please. Useless web hosts *TUT TUT*
Thanks |

That's pretty impressive...but not as impressive as this would've been
haha! this is probably how they make those "loose weight" videos too...They take skinny people and force-feed them with lard to get the "before" image :P
Edit: typo.
