I think it's a neat design for a space fighter. It all seems like it's unfinished though. There are still some pencil lines on it and the shading looks like it could use more time. It still looks a little flat, more elaborate shading might give it some depth. The lateral view doesn't looks so appealing maybe a half-frontal view of the thing flying through space would've looked better. It depends, of course, on how you want to portray it. Here it looks like a spaceship advertisement.

I like the design of it but I think Novacaptian is right. The pencil lines seem to distract from the actually picture because they are a bit sketchy looking. Try cleaning them up and making them tighter. Otherwise, it's a pretty FUNKY design.

Oh, and I like it when people post larger verions of their stuff like you did. Some post are too small to get a sense of the brush strokes, etc.

yah, the drawing is pretty ugly without the lines: you could see my lack of expertise in the craft once yo remove them. as for the lines being too sketchy, it's kinda hard not to be when you draw with a papermate.
I finally got my sakura pen to work right so my lines should improve drastically.

of course the ink stops flowing TOO often.

grr

If you've got photoshop/illustrator you can get those lines perfect using the pen tool...It just takes a little time getting used to the vectors
