Ok, I just finished this up. Its no copy. Looking for critiques/comments -- just be sure to view it on a black background or you wont really see it as it was made to be seen.

i don't like it at all. looks to me like a bunch of skeleton heads skribbled on a black background. don't get me wrong, i love abstrance art.... but the conposition here is bad, the colors aren't pleasing and it looks like it was done in about 3 minutes. picasso was an abstrance artist, but he also had a strong education in traditional art- so he knew what colors to use, where to place focuses and how to use em. learn this stuff before you attempt this type of art.

The only thing that looks like a skeleton is the one in the middle. His shoulder should be broader because his head is too big. And the rest of the skeleton heads around him doesn't look like skeletons.
There isn't really much to say about this, expect you should finish it first and then post it. From this, it's hard to see whether if you know how to draw or not. I do like the black background and the white lines though.

ps. Picasso is not an abstract painter.

Personally I don't like it, just looks like a big mess, something done by a 5 year old...

But as long as you like it, then that's the main thing.

That sure is motivation for the artist.

I'm glad this piece has invoked a lot of emotion. I've seriously studied it and must say I'm still quite pleased with it.

I may do some more like this.

At last, a thread with everything.
Lengthy and terse critique. Warm and fuzzy support. Poinless combative dickheadery. And rounded off with some vaccuous, faux persnickety, bureaucratic bitching.
Huzzah!

Well, I like the style, though it feels a bit eclectic. It's similar to a scratch board look as far as the white / color on black and reminds me a lot of Dia de los Muertos images. My one suggestion is that if you're planning on keeping with this look to further refine your style and possibly move away from the overly sketchy nature of the line work. Not that sketchy images are bad, just that sketchy lines are best when they're used to a better effect.

Since you are working with lighter values on black, you might try using the white lines to create highlights vs. the current use which is using the lines to create shadows.
