i really like this. the position of your character is really interesting as well as a pretty cool background.
the light source is a little confusing, its something im working on as well. this is affecting the shadows as well i think.
I think the only thing that takes away from your image, for me, are the pencil lines. seem out of place with the overall drawing.

Great start (espescially for being new with ps). Just watch going too high with the saturations, your bg has quite a dark gritty look but the character looks very bright and colourful (reminding of zelda a little). So it's a tough one to get the two working together, so I would suggest dropping your saturation of the foreground figure some more or changing your bg.
Also it's a little unclear what's going on, but still it's lookin good, a great start.
Just keep on going =) |
