They look like they have a very bold, eye-catching and icon-like style. It's a nice direction to take.

If you want these images to look as strong, clean and polished as possible, try using the pen tool in Photoshop on the linework of the characters as well. The jaggness in your freehand lines drops the quality of the image, IMO.
