The colors in the background are really cool. The ship seems a little "ambient" to me though. Would it have some more contrast-y shadows with that bright explosion right behind it? Nice work!

i love the dynamic nature of the picture... however, i would have to agree with pat in that the ship in the foreground doesn't seem to stand out enough, in terms of contrast...
in addition, the shadow seems somewhat misplaced... the main light source, i would assume, is the sun, which is behind, low, and to the right, suggesting the shadow shouldn't be visible... even if it were, i would think, like eVilAsmo pointed out, it may need softening up...
great piece, otherwise! |
