...well not really but it might as well have been ;)

anyways, i haven't posted here in ages.. and i'm really lazy when it comes to finishing my paintings. this one i actually started to doodle on in early august. yeah.. i went through a lot of unfinished stuff the other day and thought i'd try to finish at least something.

sooo.. now this one's about as finished as i ever will make it.

Wow, all your shapes have very crisp edges to them! Much crisper than the finest brushes in the brush palettes in Photoshop. It really works for this sort of image, too.

Two crits:
I think her head is too far into her neck. If you shifted her head about 2cm to the right, I think it would look okay. Also, her hand doesn't have the same shadows as her face.

Great painting! It must've taken a long time to do.

thats a very nice pic! The shading is very unique, its half rough(in a good way) and half stylish. One problem though, whose hand is that?

the hand is obviously hers

it works for my eye atleast, maybe a tiny bit "overangled"

like it lots, and do you "write" aswell?

it's not PS, it's painter. i rarely use PS for anything else than designs and stuff.

well the only thing wrong i can see is the hand... i just tried to do that exact same hand position with my hand and it hurt... ouch! I find everything else perfect though

i wish i could spend as much time as everyone else to explore my potential... but only weekends are free.. and i have martial arts classes and such..
i need a job but ppl around here just dont seem to need teenagers anymore with all these layoffs and stuff

ok, i used to write aswell, but now most of the inspitation and stuff goes in the normal artwork at school.
