he does look a little bit befuddled, and with thate glazed look in his eyes, maybe a little stoned

also the top of his hair could probably be lowered a bit

I really like this. one little crit is his hair seems to be well defined ot 'in focus' but areas like his eyes and neck lines seem a little too blurry and less lively.

Also im not sure wheter the Beggan has huge ears or not but from whats showing through the hair the ears seem to be at different heights, that was 2 small crits actually

Maybe you could sharp up th edges around the eyes. The look to blury.

grimsheep: befuddle is good. Thats how I wanted himn to look :0 I need to fix it where he doesn't look stoned though. On second thought beggans do smaoke pipes all the time. I wonder whats really in those pipes

Yeah the ears were meant to be big but unfortunately they appear to be lop sided because of the placement of the hair. I need to fix.

I'd like it better if his hair was shorter and curlier, but that's just personal preference. I really like these race portraits you've been posting- good stuff overall.

I can honestly say that that is the best painting of a drunk, stoned, confused Beggan I have ever seen

Anyways ... great job; I love these race portraits as well. I agree that the hair perspective is off, and there is a wide brown stroke on our left side of the head that doesn't seem to add anything, just flatten it out. Eyes are blurry, but not too bad. I like the background a lot.

That's very nice; I really like the red nose (little tipsy?), and the shell-shocked expression is funny. It looks to me like the perspective on the part in his hair could use some work, but that's all I got...
