It's been a long time since i've posted here. Here's what I've done last. Please tell me what you like and don't like about this image. Thanks in advance.
(weird, when I click this link, I go to a geocities apology page, but when I drag it to my address bar, it works fine. Does anybody know of a free web host that will fix my problem with geocities?)

Hi there,
Nice painting, I like the colours a lot, very nice "painterly style", and the characters are pretty cool too.
In my mind, some areas that have big,fat brushstrokes that seems to have been laid down in a hurry, I dunno if this could be a "style thing", but some areas looks like they could use a bit more attention to make this picture less "rushed" to look at, and therefore look like you put a bit more love into it ...
However, I guess I'm just being anal, but although I can appreciate spontaneous and dynamic lines, I'm not sure if that goes down to well with the colouring.
Is this picture a part of something bigger ?? Is there a story hidden in there somewhere ?? If it is, I cannot find it ..
As for your headache with the "Geocities thing", it has been mentioned here many times before, and to make a long story short ... here's a way around it ...
1. rename your image on your Geocities site :whatever.txt, or whatever.htm
2. use the insert image instant UBB code in this board and change the image URL to reflect the name on your Geocities site ..
Hope that helps ..

Thanks for your help HawkOne, I've updated to message to fix that link.
Unfortuanately, there is no story behind the characters. Although it would be interesting.
I can see how it appears underdeveloped in the lower portions of the image. Thanks for pointing that out. |
