This is some stuff for a new MMORPG under dev. Replacing some of the graphics on their current (ugly) site. Will replace with better stuff later, just a quick fix. Seeing what you guys think.

- Doesn't look too bad. Not quite sure whats wrogn with it. Maybe some work on the forehead and some color saturation adjustments. Any ideas? What do you think the background is supposed to be, i had to do it fast and am not very good at bg's. Should I go into more detail on the gold stuff. Any ideas on how to go about that with out getting to muddled? Not sure how to leave the impression of detail without having to be super intricate.

- Concept headshot of a dwarf male. Will have a lot more concept work up soon for your critiquing evilness.

- Not the latest version as seen in the webart but all I have uploaded so far. Just showing the WIP. Used Merekat's hair technique. Works pretty well! Thanks MK!

eh...veiny little fellow. well i like it, looks cool. his beard is a little too "groomed" in my opinion though, maybe a few stray hairs here or there. nothing worth changing though, it's fine how it is. =)

Thanks. He's a litte stressed out I think. Long nights watch. His hair is actually supposed to be very groomed. Dwarf's here are supposed to be very particular about their beards. This one used hair straightern and brushes it at least a 100 times a day.

I just realised I forgot to add in all the little dirt specks and the stray hairs he has remaining on his noggin.

Looks damn good to me. I like how smooth and creamy the beard looks. The eyes are overly saturated though. However, I have a theory that over time one learns to dislike colors that fall outside the CMYK gamut, even when they don't have to. Where extremely vivid colors seem almost "wrong". But anyway, the only time I can recall eyes that blue would be "Dune". However, shrunk down they aren't as obvious, so it works.

It's dead-on, I wouldn't monkey with it too much.

yeah the eyes were oversaturated. i lowerred the intensity when i finished him and moved him onto the banner. i know what you mean about the whole cmyk thing. it gets even worse when you get to that big old web press and have to work with adding or subtracting colors section by section, page by page...

God color checks can take forever some times...

Here are some more images. Thanks for the C&C so far. Any thoughts on these? I know the human guy is pretty stiff and boring. His eyes are kind of like vacant holes too.

Uf anyone has any color suggestions or paintovers feel free. I really want these guys to stand out and have something unique to them. Right now their kind of the same old thing. I am pretty happy with the halfling female though.

edit: I just realised how bad the leg armor on the human sucks. Wow do I need to redo that!
