That's great work, the likeness is very close. If you move the left cheekbone up a *tiny* bit and thicken the eyelashes, I think it will be even better.

It looks really good but your friend has more birtmarks, more color underneath the eyes, the face looks a little plain if u ask me

Very nice, i like the eyes and the jacket altough i think the hair could use some work, it looks not realistic enough if you ask me, the rest is so realistic the hair looks painted on

Thanks for the comments everyone - I'll bear them in mind for my next piece

I'm terrible at doing hair - and this is probably the most complicated hair I could have picked to try... getting the colors right was impossible. Anyway, I learned a lot from it so I'm looking forward to my next one already.

i think you should do it more stylized... i always find realistic pictures boring.. but i guess that's just me..
it looks good though.
