Alrighty, here's a few things I've done in the past month.

These four are characters I've drawn for other people (something I do free through my website).

They were drawn to the specifactions of the requestee; no reference used for any of them.

Comments/critiques are more than welcome.

Thanks . I've heard the character shows up a little *too* bright; but oh well. There's a helecopter flying in, and it has its lights on him...

They're all looking good Cicinimo. That's a heck of a way to get practice - do free art. Do you find it easier to illustrate characters when they come with a description from the person who wants it?

Now those are cool! I also like the bottom pic... great lighting, great choice of colours. (something I've never gotten the hang of)
You've got a good style of drawing, too.

Great work Cicinimo.

I love the idea of you doing free art for ppl, its rare but its so cool. I like the bottom pic the most. I think that the background is a bit weak though

Looks like you coulda put just a touch more time into that. Everything else looks pretty darn realistic. Great smokey FX!

Thanks guys! I was afraid I wasn't going to get a single other reply after it was almost on page 2 with only one guy responding .

Radiater- I almost prefer coming up with descriptions on my own. But when I take descriptions from other; it broadens my horizon and keeps me motivated to work .

Damien- Thanks

Ian- Thanks. Jah, that back ground was a quick shortcut. Oy.

quite excellent, young skywalker. i like the first one the most, but the background lacks depth (if that was intended, i think more depth would actually look really nice). the second is looking stiff around the neck\face\shoulders. the hands are great. the third is neat, but not entirely my thing. the fourth is great, too, but i think i'd commented on it before. probably something to do with those flat\sharp-windowed buildings :]

Doh! I couldn't recall if I had posted the last one here. Oh well . Thanks for the critique! I'm glad you like the first one, it was actually one of my personal favorites I had done .
