but darken the background where her
shoulders should be-
so it doesnt feel like you've cut'n'paste
her face.
also take away and/or add some more
of that orange from her hair line
and there's a strange bump in her troath
maybe change those shades there

Looks good (not just your part) and the expression feels real. The nose is a bump on my screen! Variation in colour is a good thing but could be pushed a bit more I think. Width across the eyes seems too wide (reference?).
