here's a second inspirational I did for that cancelled animation project.
I know the girl's arm and a lot of other
stuff is way off -- but the emotional idea was more important to me than a technically perfect image.

forgot to comment the pic (doh!)

i like the style a lot. the only thing bothering me on the pic is the hat... seems a bit off.

(Although I like Robie's understated and less cartoonish eyes and expression I do think you could bring them out a little bit more)
