I think i'm getting better..
Did what Craig told me, start with the basics, I think you can't get more basic then painting with a mouse. Anyways enjoy (Oh and it took me 3hours)

Yeah, you've got something really nice going here. Maybe a little too spoogey, but still very nice.
My only comment would be that the right-hand half of the background is distractingly out of style with the rest. I know spooge gets away with that sort of thing, but thats because he gets them to work in the context of the composition whereas here it just feels like you were testing a brush and forgot to click Undo before saving.
But as I said, it's god a nice feel anyway.
