This is a facial self portrait. Since my body is nothing remarkable (yet), I decided to embelish a little bit... okay, alot. I've never tried to draw a realistic picture before, and I think I did a decent job (for a first try).

If anyone has any tips on the face, how to make it look more real/accurate that would be great. Body too. The muscles should be accurate though.

I wouldnt say that the body is an exact copy of anyones body. You should try studying anatomy. Its not bad for a first try. Keep working. Take a few life drawing classes at your local college.

you should research some anatomy books
before attempting to create the body.

do you want to have a strong man body
thats that big?

i think if your aiming for realism, you should just do a large self portrait
use a mirror, and sketch large. That way you can get all the details in of your face.

cause it looks weird with the small head
and super large body.

What's wrong with the body? The head is a bit small, but the body is almost an exact copy of Arnolds Schwarzeneggers.
