I like a ton of different music, mostly loud, but I've got stuff like Phil Collins and Savage Garden.
Here's a list of some bands/artists I like in no particular order:
System of a Down
Everclear
Our Lady Peace
Staind
Linkin Park
Bush
Phil Collins
Meatloaf (older)
P. O. D.
American Hi-Fi
Bif Naked (some)
Eminem
and the list goes on...
I also like what I've heard of Giant Hamster's stuff. |

Phil Collins rul!!!!
I listen to old weed music from the 70's, pop from the 80's and mid 90's R&B.
Too much crappy music coming out now though. |

Anything.
From the Pulp Fiction theme, to Tenacious D, to System of a down, to Cake, to Peter Gabrielle... You name it I like it.
And I especially like the sound of my hand being drawn over a wacom pen tablet... with or without the plastic covering! |

Coaster - Who was it your mom dug up that you were complaining about? Wasn't it something like "Boney M" or something?

Meh, I'd listen to Boney M, it was just the principal of my mom humming mary's boy child for the rest of the day. |

I like hardbop, postbop, orchestrated jazz...
Charles Mingus, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Fletcher Henderson, Tony Fruscella, Django Reinhardt, John Coltrane, The Jazz Crusaders and a big share of blues and singer-songwriters too (Randy Newman...).
Oh and Otis Redding. I just... dig him. Really diggggg him.
Someone said to me 80% of the people I listen to is dead. As if it suddenly stops being worth listening to. Only recently turned 21, I am one of the people who thinks there isn't a lot decent music being made these days. |

duckman2, finally someone else who is into jamband-esque music! at most of the boards i visit like this one, there are so few (if any) people who like that kind of music. do you know miracle orchestra or the slip at all? if not, definitely check out the slip, they are awesome (my favorite band)...it's hard to describe them in a sentence or two...there is definitely a huge jazz influence, but not all of their songs are really jazzy. some are really intense...there is a pretty big influence from native american-type derived stuff and some african type rhythms/tunes. also, their sound sometimes borders on pop in certain ways a little bit, but that is only in a few songs. they also play a few songs with an electric sitar. it is a trio, guitar + vocals (although there are only vocals in about 30% of their songs), bass, and drums. the guitarist's style is a bit like pat metheny...anyway, i'll stop rambling now. everyone go check out the slip |
