whaddaya think? im trying to develop into a professional illustrator/comic artist, so feel free to critique within that context...it's supposed to be liv tyler's elf character Arwen from lord of the rings...thanks! ^_^

I cant pick out anything immidiately WRONG with it, but if you added some color it would make it feel more right.

You charictor and form are deffinatly a strong point. Only things I see as a weak point would be the background. Its good, but dosent seem to be using any refference material. Which gives it the "its good, but not real" feeling. If that makes sence. Style wise its good.

thanks guys!...yeah that's a major achilles heel for me...i never use reference for anything except character costumes and faces ^_^;;;...i was thinkin about inking and coloring it, but i don't have a wacom so it would probably take more time than i have to devote right now

as an aside, i know i don't really participate on this board much, and i appreciate the feedback i get here, but part of what i like about it other than you guys's knowledge of lighting is that you people don't know much about my personality, so there's less to bias you one way or the other in your perception of the pic and/or your critiques...but...i hate to be a taker and not a giver, so if any of you happen to have a pic or thread you'd like me to comment/critique on in return for your feedback on my stuff, you can feel free to link me and id be happy to go do that

but i don't know if ill really be able to manage checking and replying to threads on any more than the number of message board communities im currently active in...NOT that most of you probably even care ^_^;;...but...just kinda thought of that...okay see ya!
