Fleabrain, your painting blows me away. It's bright, pleasant, and it feels as though you have a lot of compassion for your subject. I really like the build-up of smaller strokes as shown in the details, the full piece has a vibrancy that can all too easily be smudged away.
This painting is so enjoyable, I'm going to look up your other posts to see what else you've done.

NICE!! I love the short strokes. Makes her skin texture look much more realistic. I'm gonna have to keep that in mind
Hey, I noticed you left out some highlights I found on the reference pic. I tried adding them myself, just so you could see what it would look like. Hope you don't mind me messin' around with your image

Oscar... Well, actually I didn't leave the highlights off... I played them down. I felt they were too strong for the feeling I was after...
