i actually did the image first, then the tutorial. the best thing that certain 1337 designer kids whose sole "design" thing are those 3d shapes deleted it instantly from an elite 'designers around the world unite' forum. *cough*

in fact it was deleted from three forums.

four if you count my forum that i deleted entirely.

although the antialiasing problems in the top shape are quite shameful.

It does look pretty nice, but I can see why you would hate it. I should make one for digital painters (or someone with more time could too)

i'd make that conan tutorial myself if i could draw/paint.. i've gradually lost all of my drawing skills as of late. or as of the last year or so anyway.

anyway, i don't completely diss that stuff, i enjoy some of the abstract 3d stuffthingymabob. mitDR did some cool as hell stuff with it.. but then again, they rule anyway.

it's just that when 15 year old kids start calling themselves designers 'cos they warezed max.. *hiss* *shriek*

as this is the sarcasm thread, it was a joke. I completely agree with you on the subject. I�m trying pretty hard to get more skills these days, and i still can�t say i�m at least better than average.
and it�s kinda weird when some dudes do some max, don�t know what to call it, then giving it the name "abstract".
