Hey all.
been hovering around here for the past few weeks waiting till I had something to show to start posting again. it's just a cartoon version of myself done in photoshop4...
I surprized myself with how good the boots and hat came out. I stepped away from photoshop for a while so I could work on my actual drawing. My only regret is how the lips don't quite match the style/feel to the rest of it.
here's the .inked drawing and here's the colored version w/ out the lines.
crits, comments

great work man, the lips may not be exactly the same style but I wouldn't change them. The expression is perfect. At least I'm assuming its perfect, its very good in any case
I'm not sure about the colour of the shirt, maybe desaturate it or change the hue a bit.
I know I don't like the red/white gradations on the tags, maybe its personal but I dislike the way red and white blend.
The only other minor thing is that the hat doesn't extend beyond the brow at all... its flush with it even though I can see that its quite thick at the bottom.
Pretty minor things, its an excellent charicature. |

The lighting on the top of the head doesn't match the rest of the pic. Everything else is great ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

I thinkthe saturation is a bit to high on some stuff, and the hat does look a bit strange with the light coming from.. well.. the light.
Allover very nice pic, with a lot of character!
*edit*
forgot somethin'.. the Bubble with the quote (i like the quote *looksatownsig*), the bubble ist a bit too low. The spike off it points to his chin, instead of his mouth.
I would also change the outline of the bubble a bit!

i have to agree, edel, i dig your style.. and you have a good way of expressing feeling/pose.. something that i lack in all of my drawings.. I just wish i could develop my own style..
oh well.. stay tight..
